An 8 week supportive group program for women who have experienced domestic/family violence or sexual abuse in their lives.

The Group is open to women of all abilities and diversity. Please contact us with any questions and individual support needs.

Using the Shark Cage® Framework, you will learn about the impacts of trauma, creating and setting boundaries, develop assertiveness skills, and build your sense of empowerment.

The group aims to be a safe space for you to create a new strong and positive sense of yourself and your rights.

NORWACS is providing a series of workshops across several LGA’s. The goal is to provide tips and strategies to help equip participants to support themselves and others nutritionally and emotionally post disaster.

The workshop is practical including a cooking demonstration, gentle movement, emotional wellbeing tools as well as referral points across the region.

We will share the food we make along with a light lunch and get a chance to connect with community.

Facilitators: Sonja Habernicht (Psychologist) and Nerida Colley (Health Promotion)

We hope to see you there. Please register by Monday the 18th of September for catering purposes. Details in flyer.
